TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRINTING OF TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM
1.
The entire work shall be carried out in workman-like manner and as per the
instructions of the authorised representative of CWPRS at different stages of
printing work.
2.
The total no.of pages given in the schedule are only approximate and are likely
to increase or decrease for which no increase in the rates will be allowed. Thus
the accepted rates will be treated as valid for the actual quantities.
3.
Contractor shall make his own arrangements for providing all materials including
paper, art card etc.
4.
The paper, art card, page design, page layout and proofs must be got approved
before final printing.
5.
The Director, CWPRS shall have full powers to reject any or all the tenders
without assigning any reasons thereof.
6.
The Director, CWPRS shall have full powers to terminate the contract at any
time, if the work is not found satisfactory.
7..
Full payment will be made within 30 days on completion of the work in all
respects.
8.
Time limit of 10 days will be reckoned from the date of handing over the matter
excluding the time taken by the department in conveying approval to paper, art
card, page design, page layout and proofs etc.
9.
The Director, CWPRS reserves right to forfeit security deposit or levy
compensation as deemed appropriate (limited to 2% of the work) for delay.
10.
Contractor shall have to prepare a dummy of the report to be printed and take
final approval before actual printing.
11.
The entire text along with scanned photos/figures to be printed will be made
available on CD (Word document).
12.
If a firm accepts the order & fails to execute the order, in full or part as per
terms and conditions stipulated therein, it will be open to the Director to
recover liquidated damages from the firm at the rate of 1% of the value of the
undelivered stores per month or part thereof subject to maximum of 5% of the
value of the undelivered stores. It will also be open to the Director,
alternatively, to arrange procurement of the required stores from any source, at
the risk and expenses of the firm accepted and failed to execute the order
accordingly to stipulations agreed upon. This will also entail removal of the
defaulter’s name from the approved/registered list of suppliers.

Tender forms can be obtained from the office of Executive Engineer (Civil)
between 0930 Hrs and 1600 Hrs from 17.12.2014 to 05.01.2015 on payment of
non refundable fee of ₹500/-₹50/- if required by post) by cash/demand draft
drawn in favour of Executive Engineer (Civil), CW&PRS payable at Pune.
Tender Documents can also be downloaded from the CWPRS Website
www.cwprs.gov.in should be submitted along with the tender of ₹500/- in the
form of DD drawn in favour of Executive Engineer (Civil), CWPRS payable at
Pune.
14.
Reputed Firms may send their lowest offers for the same in a Sealed Envelop
superscribing bid for the “ Printing of Technical Memeorandum” in person / by post
so as to reach the Executive Engineer (Civil), CW&PRS, Pune – 411 024 on or
before 07.01.2015 up to 1430 Hrs. The bid should be opened at 1500 Hrs on
07.01.2015.
15.
Tender received after due date and time will be rejected.
16.
Tender will be valid at least 180 days from the date of opening. Rates quoted shall
be written in ink both in figures and in words. If there is any discrepancy, the rates
quoted in words would be considered.
17.
Department reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reasons.
18.
EMD of ₹ 3,840/- (Rupees Three Thousand Eight Hundred Forty only) in the
form of DD/FDR from any Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Executive
Engineer (Civil), CW&PRS, Pune – 24 should be enclosed.
19.
Unsigned Tender / Tender without EMD will be rejected.
