Baked Beeler Spiral-cut Ham
The Beeler ham that we have at Natural Grocers is spiral cut, award-winning, home
style, no hormones or antibiotics and no water added. It’s delicious!
1 Beelers ½ bone in ham, spiral-cut
¼ cup NGVC honey
1 tbsp. dry mustard
½ tsp. black pepper
1 pinch ground cloves
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 orange, cut into slices
juice of 1 orange
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan lined with
orange slices and with ½ cup water.
- Cover the ham with a top or tin foil. It should
only need to roast initially for about 12 minutes
per pound or until an internal temperature of
about 130 degrees is reached.
- While the ham is roasting, prepare honey
glaze by combining the honey, mustard,
orange juice, ground cloves, cinnamon and
pepper.
-Heat on low for about 15 minutes. Gently
simmer, stirring often until slightly thickened.
- After the ham has roasted for the determined
time, increase the oven temp to 400 degrees.
- Remove the tin foil and brush glaze on ham
20 minutes before end of cooking period. Make
sure your ham browns and doesn’t burn, and
check the internal temperature; it should
register at 145 degrees.
-Transfer ham to serving platter and garnish
with orange slices, kale and red pepper.
- Serve with mango salsa.
