DTCC and triResolve As global regulators increase their focus on the quality of data being reported, it is important that firms with the obligation to report under European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) do so without discrepancies. Counterparties reporting under EMIR should ensure that all data reported is accurate and without duplication. This responsibility remains with the firm who has the obligation to report and can not be transitioned to a submitting party in scenarios of delegated reporting. As the reporting of OTC and ETD Derivatives proliferates around the world, reconciliation plays a key role in reducing the potential for discrepancies and regulatory misinterpretations. DTCC's Global Trade Repository (GTR), as the leading provider in derivatives reporting, has connectivity to triResolve to provide mutual firms with the tools to reconcile trades that have been reported into the GTR. triResolve can validate that the data received by the GTR is consistent with clients’ own internal books and records. triResolve collates the data reported to the DTCC’s GTR and the data within a clients internal system. An algorithmic matching process reconciles trades without common trade IDs and identifies any discrepancies across all fields. Usage Functionality Provides clients with visibility over data accuracy and highlights discrepancies Access Direct reporters to the GTR fill in a DTCC authorisation form to permission triResolve to receive outbound data. This form should be returned to GTR Onboarding: [email protected] GTR sends out reports via sFTP to triResolve servers on a daily basis triResolve normalises the data and uses an advanced algorithm to reconcile records without the need for a UTI Whole population “snapshots” provides comparison of unpaired records and the deltas Users login into triResolve GUI to identify, track, investigate and help resolve discrepancies Website Specific information on about reconciliation and DTCC Derivatives Repository Ltd European Authorization Form Further information Detailed information specific requirements can be provided by our team: can be found: European and Middle East Email: [email protected] Tel: +44 207 650 1545 http://dtcc.com/data-and-repository-services/global-trade-repository/reconciliation-services.aspx Website Specific information on reconciliation and DTCC Derivatives Repository Ltd Authorization Form can be found: http://dtcc.com/data-and-repository-services/global-trade-repository/reconciliation-services.aspx
