In accordance with Board of Education Policy and Superintendents Rule 6002, The Board of
Education of Baltimore County and The Office of English Language Arts invite the public to
review the instructional resources listed below which will be on display at the Board of
Education at 6901 Charles St., Towson MD 21204 for the next 30 days through May 10, 2014.
On-line materials can be accessed at www.my.hrw.com. The username is BREED960 and the
password is n2u7m. This material will support the effective implementation of language arts
instruction at the ninth grade level. These resources will be used to ensure that the instruction of
language arts is delivered in an effective and consistent manner across all secondary high
schools. The suggested student materials are listed below.

Any citizen who is concerned about an item shall fill out a Request for Reconsideration form in
accordance with Superintendents Rule 6002. The form shall be submitted to the Division of
Curriculum and Instruction. The Division will forward the form to the office designated on the
