Location: Dauphin Regional Health Centre
Department/Program: Security Services
Salary: In accordance with MGEU Facility Support Collective Agreement
Current Shifts: 11.625HR Shifts: Days/Nights/Weekends
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent.
 Ability to obtain a valid license as a Security Officer (Guard) under the Manitoba Security Guard
and Private Investigate Act, prior to commencement of employment.
 Class 5 Driver’s License and Clear Drivers Abstract.
 Minimum of one year experience in closed circuit TV systems.
 Minimum of one year experience in fire safety protection and emergency planning.
 Must be competent with Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook).
 Physically capable of performing job expectations as listed.
 Demonstrated excellence in organization and prioritization of work.
 Must have above average interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
 Must work with minimum supervision, showing organization and adaptability, individual initiative
and good judgment.
 Knowledge of City of Dauphin Traffic By-law 02/2009.
 Ability to work with all staff.
 Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
 Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.
 Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis.
