Position/Title – Director of Standards
Job Type – Full Time

Base Salary Range - $30,000-$35,000 annually commensurate with education and experience
Position Description
The Director of Standards is charged with communicating and assessing Chapter/Colony compliance with
The Constitution and Bylaws of Theta Chi Fraternity, Inc. and all stated standards and policies. The
position will be responsible for responding to and investigating violations of Theta Chi Fraternity
standards and policies. The Director will also oversee the implementation of corrective measures for
Chapter/Colonies found to have violated Fraternity policy.
The Director of Standards shall seek to continually promote compliance with Fraternity policy through
proactive communication and education. The position will coordinate the work of one or more volunteer
committees/boards of the International Fraternity.
Position Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional, a team
player, and must possess a desire to advance the mission of Theta Chi Fraternity.
Candidates must have strong telephone and email communication abilities. Candidates must demonstrate:
excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with alumnus volunteers, students, and colleagues;
strong written and verbal communication skills; strong facilitation skills; and problem-solving abilities.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be able to learn how to use the organization’s
database system.
Frequent business travel will be required.
