Description
SeraShine® EM 506 is a benzoic acid preserved co-emulsion of high viscosity dimethicone and quaternised silicone for
enhanced conditioning to dry, damaged and frizzy hair. The Silicone Quaternium-17 within the emulsion offers 62%1
damage repair, by adhering to the abraded hair cuticle, allowing coarse, dry ends to become silky soft. The high
viscosity dimethicone soothes coarse and frizzy hair, markedly improving wet combing by 42% 2 and dry combing by
53%3. Smoothness is enhanced by 67%4. These effects can be seen at addition levels of 2% active silicone to conditioner
formulations, but usage is recommend in all types of hair products, at 1 5% as supplied.

Method of Use
SeraShine® EM 506 as an emulsion is easily water dilutable, and, thanks to its non-ionic character, can be easily
included into various shampoo and intense conditioning hair products. The primary function of SeraShine® EM 506 is
to impart a high degree of conditioning in products designed for dry, damaged hair. As this is a reasonably large
particle size co-emulsion of intense conditioning high viscosity dimethicone and quaternised silicone, care must be
taken to avoid over-conditioning effects if formulating SeraShine® EM 506 with other conditioning agents.
Recommended Usage Level
1 - 5% to opaque conditioning shampoo and conditioner formulations

25kg and 200kg drums.
Storage and Shelf Life
The product should be stored below 32oC and not be allowed to freeze. Shelf life of the opened or un-opened container
is 12 months from the date of manufacture. If you wish to use this product after this time, please contact us for details.
