PTO (Paid Time Off)
Time off with pay, or PTO, is available to eligible employees to
provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, personal pursuits and to
recover from illness.
PTO is awarded annually based on an employee’s hire date, subsequent anniversary date and years of employment according to the
schedule outlined below. When transitioning from one level of PTO
benefit to another, the increase in earning rate will begin on the
employee’s service anniversary date.

Year’s Eve Day.
Non-production/office employees receive 9 paid holidays as follows:

History
Amana was originally established in 1934. In 1965, Amana became a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company. Raytheon had
technology that complemented the manufacturing and marketing
capabilities of Amana. Through this collaboration, Amana introduced the WORLD’S first 115-volt portable countertop microwave oven. Raytheon eventually sold the Amana Appliance business
and Amana Appliances went through several ownership changes
until being purchased by Whirlpool Corporation in 2006. In 2006
Whirlpool sold the Amana commercial products division which was
acquired by AGA Foodservice Group. Effective December 2007,
we are now part of Ali-Spa, an Italian based commercial foodservice
equipment company.

Today, we are ACP, Inc. (Accelerated Cooking Products) and our
brands include Amana® Commercial and Menumaster®. ACP, Inc.
remains the leader in providing high speed cooking solutions to the
foodservice industry.
