General
The Inspection Manager software is an essential part of the
eVance™ Services offering. The Inspection Manager dramatically improves the speed, accuracy and efficiency of your testing
and inspection activities while providing professionally formatted
reports.
Benefits
AUTOMATES DATA COLLECTION AND TESTING
Fire panels connected to the secure data center with a web portal transfer test information directly to the application. This connectivity reduces the need to have a separate technician at the
panel when testing. Non-addressable points can be inspected
using integrated barcode labels and scanners.

SUPPORTS MULTIPLE TECHNICIANS
With the Inspection Manager, multiple technicians can conduct
the walk test simultaneously. The Inspection Manager provides
the capability to sync the walk test results and data across multiple mobile devices.
WORKS ONLINE AND OFFLINE
In connected mode, the application can pull data from fire panels utilizing web portals for connection to the secure data center.
If connectivity to the data center is lost or not possible, the
Inspection Manager will operate in a barcode scan mode.
ENABLES VISUAL DOCUMENTATION
Technicians can use their mobile devices to take digital photographs of equipment and areas that require corrective action.
Those images are then stored in the secure data center with the
inspection data.
STREAMLINES REPORTING
The Inspection Manager automatically generates professionally
formatted reports that can include your business information
and logo. Signatures can be captured on the technician's mobile
device. Reports can be emailed and are stored in the data center with 24/7 access available to the ESD, building owner and/or
AHJ.

INSPECTION MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
• One person walk test on addressable devices when connecting the fire panel to the data center using the web portal.
• Voice recognition commands allow for hands-free operation,
which makes testing less cumbersome and up to 30% faster
for systems connected to the eVance data center through a
web portal.
• Technician always knows test status, with number of devices
tested and total devices remaining to test.
• Search and sort capability on test item list provides quick and
easy viewing of items by test status and description.
• Capture corrective actions using the camera, voice recognition and/or by typing in the information.
TEST AND INSPECTION REPORTS
• NFPA 10, NFPA 25, NFPA 72, NFPA 2001, NFPA 72 Record
of Completion, Corrective Action, Device Sensitivity, Joint
Commission, and Facility Equipment Inspection report formats are supported.
• Reports previewed on the mobile device.
• Signatures are captured directly on the mobile device.
• Reports can be e-mailed immediately upon completion.
• Access to reports available 24/7 through the data center.
END USER/BUILDING OWNER INFORMATION CENTER
• Ability to access inspection reports for your buildings.
DATABASE IMPORT
• Import addressable device database from VeriFire Tools®
(versions 6.00 - 8.20).
System Requirements & Accessories
• Required Mobile Devices (Customer-supplied):
– Apple iPhone 5/5s, iPod touch, or iPod mini (iOS7) or
– Android (KitKat OS v. 4.4 and later).
• N-WEBPORTAL: Web portal that connects Notifier fire panels to the secure data center. See N-WEBPORTAL data
sheet DN-60806.
• Required Scanners (Purchased directly from Notifier):
– For Apple mobile devices: SCANNER-5 (iPhone 5/5S),
SCANNER-TOUCH (iPod touch), or SCANNER-MINI (iPad
mini). See data sheet DN-60807.
– For Android mobile devices: SCANNER-BT. See datasheet
DN-60839.
• BARCODE-1000: Roll of 1,000 bar code labels. Barcode
labels may be purchased from Notifier or printed by customer.
• Bluetooth Headset is optional for the Inspection Manager and
is provided by the customer. Recommended headsets are
the Plantronics® Voyager Legend (p/n 87300-01) and the
Jawbone ERA™.
TEST PLANS
• Technician can easily schedule equipment for quarterly,
semi-annual, and/or annual testing.

Data Security and Privacy
HOSTED / SECURE DATA CENTER
The secure/hosted data center is located in the United States
and is compliant with the following:
• SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402 audit standards (formerly SAS 70).
• The SOC 3 SysTrust® for Service Organizations Seal of
Assurance.
These certifications are governed by industry and government
regulations, and speak to critical aspects of our data center physical access, network and IP backbone access, system
availability, customer provisioning and problem management.
The data center provides regular backups and offsite storage of
your critical data.
Data Ownership and Privacy
Because your company and customer data is of utmost importance, our subscription and privacy agreement is in place to protect your business. To view the subscription and privacy

Software Licensing
The Inspection Manager software is purchased as an annual
license. The license you need is based on the number of people
who will be using the software at your company. Any building
owners, end users, AHJ's (customers) that your company provides view-only access to do not count as a user in terms of the
license agreement.
After you have purchased the Inspection Manager application
and created user names and passwords from the web based
software application, you will then download the eVance Services Inspection Manager from the Apple App Store.
As part of the eVance Services offering, the Inspection Manager
software may be bundled with the Service Manager software at
a discount over purchasing the two software applications separately.

The Inspection Manager may be purchased in individual
licenses or by a pack of licenses. The eVance Services bundle
is purchased in packs only. For example, a 10 user license will
provide up to 10 unique users with access to the software.

To order, please contact your Customer Service Representative
(CSR). For upgrades, the CSR will be able to provide information as to how your yearly software license start and completion
date may be impacted.
YEARLY LICENSE RENEWALS
At month 9 of the yearly license, you will start to receive e-mail
messages and warnings from the data center that your license
will run out in 3 months. You should then order a renewal
license.
SOFTWARE LICENSE UPGRADES
• License upgrades can be purchased when you want to add
more users or another license.
• As an example, this would allow you to go from a 5 user
license to a 10 user license, or to add Service Manager if you
are currently using Inspection Manager.
• Upgrade orders should be placed within 9 months after the
yearly license period has started. After month 9, the data
center will treat an eVance Services software license order
as a renewal.
