Ideas” is funded by the German Federal Ministry of
Education and Research (BMBF). Its main objective
is to present Germany’s research achievements and
opportunities to the international research community
and key international markets. Within the initiative
the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH),
the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD),
the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the
Fraunhofer Society (Fraunhofer) jointly promote
Germany as a research location together with
scientists from German research institutions.
