and parenting educator in
our community for more
than 25 years. A mom of five
children, she understands
what parents need as they
transition to becoming a
family. Some of her clients
include three generations of
family members.
She holds a California state
teaching credential, as well
as certification to teach
prenatal, childbirth, lactation,
parenting and early childhood
education.
Transitions to Parenting
This class will explore the changes that will take place
when moving from Pregnancy to Parenting. Topics include:
Postpartum Experience, Early Parenting, Infant Cues,
Crying and Sleep.

In this four week childbirth course for expectant
couples, various techniques are taught to use during
the labor process. Comfort measures, relaxation,
breathing and the role of the support person are
included. Bring two pillows and a blanket to class.
