Multi-mycotoxin immunoaffinity columns for simultaneous detection of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2,
ochratoxin A, fumonisins B1 and B2 in a wide range of commodities in conjunction with
LC-MS/MS.
General
Aflatoxins, ochratoxin A and fumonisins in the sample are extracted, filtered, diluted and passed
slowly through the AOF MS-PREP® column where binding takes place between the antibodies
and the toxins. The column is then washed to remove any extraneous unbound pigments.
The purified aflatoxins, ochratoxin and fumonisins are released from the column using 100 %
methanol prior to injection onto LC-MS/MS. The toxins are then quantified in one LC-MS/MS run.
