The 15th International Conference
on Vibrations at Surfaces (VAS15)

Aims:
Vibrations at Surfaces (VAS) is an international conference and
main venue for scientific exchange in the field of surface vibrational
spectroscopy and surface dynamics. VAS15 will be the 15th edition
of a series of meetings: Jülich (1978), Namur (1980), Asilomar (1982),
Bowness on Windermere (1985), Eibsee (1987), Shelter Island (1990),
Santa Margherita (1993), Birmingham (1996), Hayama (1998), Saint Malo
(2001), Bar Harbor (2004), Erice (2007), Orlando (2010), and Kobe (2012).
As in the previous meetings the goal of VAS15 is to bring together
experienced and young researchers as well as student s working
in surface vibrational spectroscopy, surface dynamics and in the
development of new techniques for the understanding of the vibrational
properties of surfaces and interfaces which are relevant to the fields of
physics, chemistry, biology and engineering.
