Release of Assessment Results for Semester One of 2014-15
In connection to the release of assessment results for Semester One of 2014-15 academic year, we would like to draw your
attention to the following arrangements.
Schedule on Release of Subject and Overall Results
Please be informed that the assessment results for Semester One of 2014-15 academic year will be released via the
“Assessment Results” tabpage under the eStudent. The announcement schedule is listed below:

The option of checking results for “All Semesters” will be suspended during the period: 2 - 10 January 2015.

Cases with subject results not yet available will not be shown. Please contact the subject offering department
concerned for the release schedule.

If the overall result is not yet available, the statement “Overall result for this semester is not yet finalised” will be
shown. Please contact the programme offering department for the release schedule.

Other Graduation Requirements
The fulfillment/exemption records on Other Graduation Requirements (i.e. GSLPA (Chinese & English), Work Integrated
Education (WIE), Co-Curricular Activities, Healthy Lifestyle, etc) will be listed on the assessment results sheet via eStudent and
Official ARN. For your information, the “in-progress” status only applies to the requirement on Healthy Lifestyle. In addition,
records updated before finalisation of overall results of this semester will be shown on your results sheet. Work fulfilled but not
updated in time will be shown on your results sheet of the next semester. However, you can find the latest fulfillment records as
updated to your records from the “Study Information” option under “My Profile” tabpage of the eStudent in the meantime.
Please contact the relevant offices for queries on the fulfillment/exemption records. You can contact your programme offering
department or refer to the Definitive Programme Document should you have queries on these requirements for your programme.
Application for Assessment Results Notification Sheet
If you need an official Assessment Results Notification (ARN) sheet for employment or further study purpose, you can approach
your Faculty Office/School of Design (SD)/School of Hotel & Tourism Management (SHTM) direct to obtain an official copy.
Please note that the application deadline of ARN for Semester One of 2014-15 academic year is 28 February 2015. Any request
made after this date will not be entertained and you will be required to apply for transcript on a paid basis.
Issuance of complimentary Transcript of Studies to Graduates
Upon the release of overall assessment results for Semester One of 2014-15, Faculty/SD/SHTM will arrange to mail a copy of the
transcripts to the correspondence address of their graduates accordingly. Students, who are going to graduate in Semester
One, are therefore requested to update the University, via eStudent (http://www.polyu.edu.hk/student > select ‘My Profile’ >
‘Personal Details’ > ‘Update’), on any change in their correspondence addresses as soon as possible and preferably before the
announcement date of overall assessment results, i.e. 10 January 2015.
If you have an urgent need for the transcript of studies, you may apply for one on a paid basis by completing form AS3 which can
be obtained from the AS homepage at http://www.polyu.edu.hk/as/web/dir/graduate_form.html.
The University Congregation
Formal conferment of academic awards to graduates of 2014-15 academic year will be made at the 21st Congregation to be held from
October to November 2015. Updated information for the 21st Congregation will be posted at the Academic Secretariat website at
http://www.polyu.edu.hk/congregation.

If you have any queries on your assessment results, please contact the relevant subject offering department(s) or programme
offering department. For graduates with specific Minor or Double Degree/Major, both awards will be shown in the
“Qualification(s)” section, otherwise, please approach the programme offering department immediately for rectifications.
