Please read the details of the files before proceeding further.
Points to note
1. There are total 4 compressed files in this directory, each starting with the number
2. The operating system named as FOSSEE-OS, it is based on Ubuntu-14.04 repositories
3. The Kernel version is 3.4.5, the boot images are modified to display FOSSEE-OS
Description of files
1. 1_wm8880-fossee-os_rootfs.tar.gz is compressed files done with following command
tar -cvpzf /media/1_wm8880-fossee-os_rootfs.tar.gz \
--exclude=/media/1_wm8880-fossee-os_rootfs.tar.gz --one-file-system /
To uncompress the above tar.gz in ext4 7.5GB (approximate) partition use the following
command
tar -xvpzf /path/to/1_wm8880-fossee-os_rootfs.tar.gz -C /path/to/ext4/partition

2. Uncompress

contains both boot (vfat) and rootfs (ext4) partitions.

4. Uncompress 4_boot.tar.gz file and obtain boot directory, which contains uzImage.bin ,
initrd.img, ubuntu-wait.bmp, ubuntu.bmp and other files. The .bmp files are modified one to reflect
FOSSEE-OS logo instead of Ubuntu. You may copy the entire content of boot directory to NAND's
boot partition.
