PYLORI ERADICATION TREATMENT REGIMENS Acid Suppressant Dose Antibiotics Dose Treatment Duration Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) BASED REGIMENS Aciphex (rabeprazole) 20mg twice daily Nexium (esomeprazole) 40mg once daily amoxicillin 1000mg and clarithromycin 500mg; both twice daily Prevacid (lansoprazole) 30mg twice daily Prilosec (omeprazole) 20mg twice daily Prevacid (lansoprazole) 30mg twice daily amoxicillin 1000mg three times daily Prilosec (omeprazole) 40mg once daily in AM clarithromycin 500mg three times daily One of the PPIs mentioned above* One of the PPIs mentioned above* 7 days with AM and PM meals 10 days 10 or 14 days 10 days. COMBINATION PRODUCTS Prevpac (lansoprazole 30mg [2 caps], amoxicillin 500mg [4 caps], and clarithromycin 500mg [2 tabs] per pack). Take lansoprazole 30mg, amoxicillin 1000mg, and clarithromycin 500mg twice daily. Prilosec (omeprazole) 20mg twice daily Pylera (bismuth subcitrate 140mg, metronidazole 125mg, and tetracycline 125mg in 1 cap). Take 3 caps 4 times daily. 10 or 14 days Omeprazole sold separately.
