Algypug Enclosures® is a European
manufacturer of standard enclosures for a
variety of industrial applications in the
electrical, automation, networking and
telecom sectors.
AWX SERIES
Algypug's AWX enclosures are fabricated from
brushed steel (304) and are fully welded with
continuous seams. AWX enclosures also use a
poured foam gasket technology for attaining
the highest possible IP protection. These
features make the AWX especially suitable for
corrosive environments or where special
hygiene standards need to be maintained.
Algypug's products have been developed over
the past 40 years, and meet or exceed strict
international technical and quality standards.
Our continuous focus on design and process
improvements allow us to deliver both
standard and special enclosures in days, not
weeks or months.
AWX enclosures come with a zinc-plated
mounting plate fixed to stud welded bolts.
Algypug also offers a variety of optional
features and accessories, including rain
canopies, drawing pockets, and gland plates.
The basic variants of the AWX series are Wall
Mounted and Floor Mounted enclosures. Both
variants are rated to IP-65 protection and
conform to conform to British Standard EN60529, as well as UL 508A for enclosure
integrity.

For Wall Mounted SS Enclosures, the standard supply is without a gland plate.
For Floor Mounted SS Enclosures, cable access is provided at the base, and optional top cable
access is available on request.
Enclosure body, front concealed hinged single/double door (depending on width) with robotic
foam-in-place gaskets and CAM lock (quantity of CAMs depends on height), 1 no
of mounting plate ﬁxed on the rear most side (Wall Mounted) / 1 no of mounting plate on depth
adjustable rails (Floor Mounted).
