SpeederLan-Bis is an enterprise network access unit that provides high
rate connection over one and up to
eight telephone copper pairs. It operates as a manageable Ethernet
bridge with VLAN capabilities. It complies to the ITU-T G.991.2, G.SHDSL
Bis standard with a 11.4 Mbps
throughput per pair in both directions. It performs up to 90 Mbps over
eight pairs with EFM, Ethernet First
Mile, IEEE 802.3ah standard.
SpeederLan-Bis offers a very high
Ethernet throughput that suits the
requirements of Hot-Spot access, 3G
BTS interconnection, etc.
SpeederLan-Bis offers a maximum
rate of 90 Mbps or a maximum distance of 8 km over existing 0.4mm /
AWG26 copper pairs. Three Ethernet
ports connect to the LAN and terminal equipments.
SpeederLan-Bis management is
very flexible and secure. Most management is done through intuitive
Web pages in http / https. It can be
supervised through snmp. Access
is secured through password policy
and secured protocols – ssh and
https. The equipment provides also
a local console port and a Syslog
service.
SpeederLan-Bis is suitable for any
professional environment. It comes
as a metallic compact and robust
device powered from either a 110230 Vac mains or a 48 Vdc input.
As a rack mount card, it can fit in
an AMS4 or AMS16, 19’’ chassis.
The AMS16 chassis supports 16
device slots, 2 power supply slots
and one slot for a centralized management card with TCP-IP, SNMP
protocols.
SpeederLan-Bis is a high performance Ethernet bridge that operates
in point to point, or multipoint or
even ring topology in group of 4
pairs.
SpeederLan-Bis is a fully featured bridge with per port and
802.1q VLAN. Quality of service
and traffic prioritization is controlled from the DSCP field of
the IP frames.

SpeederLan-Bis interconnects Ethernet networks and terminals through four or
eight telephone copper pairs. It is an Ethernet bridge that operates in point to
point or multipoint mode. It offers a maximum throughput of 90 Mbps and a
maximum distance of 8 km.
