PRESENTER Herston Powers is the DR Market Solutions and Senior IR Specialist (APAC) for BNY Mellon’s Depositary Receipts division and is based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for strategic advisory for BNY Mellon’s Asia Pacific depositary receipt issuers with respect to investor relations, capital markets outreach and corporate access. Mr. Powers has extensive experience in strategic positioning, bespoke targeting analysis and roadshow execution for Asia Pacific issuers in North America and Europe. Mr. Powers speaks regularly at capital markets conferences/events on trends in investor relations, communications, and capital markets developments. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Mr. Powers was a research analyst for a global trade organization and leading nonprofit, where he published research on sustainability, urban retail development, and market research reports for media, industry, government and investment audiences. Mr. Powers holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Hunter College, City University of New York in New York City.
