TOPIC OUTLINE
An uncertain global outlook for 2014 has placed increased attention by the investment community on
companies from Malaysia and Southeast Asia. For companies to take advantage of the new market
dynamics, Malaysian firms should aim to enhance their current IR practices in order to maintain
existing shareholders, engage potential investors and position themselves to provide further
shareholder value.
This presentation will provide key insights on new market developments for IR teams, the findings of
BNY Mellon’s 9th annual Global Trends in Investor Relations Study and a comparative analysis of
these results for Southeast Asian and global firms. Additionally, the speaker will provide key insights
on how best to engage the investment community and uncovering new investor markets for IR
teams.
