You received this notice because you purchased or leased a vehicle from West County BMW, Inc. from December 11, 2003 through August 28, 2009, and you were charged a “Documentary and Title Preparation Fee” or similarly denominated fee, (“Processing Fee”). This lawsuit alleged that the charging of the Processing Fee, or similar fee, violated Missouri law. Defendant asserts they have followed the law and deny the allegations in this case. A settlement of this lawsuit has been reached. Under the proposed Settlement, you are entitled to benefits in the form of a Voucher that can be used the same as cash at the dealership listed above during a period that extends six months from the date of issuance. The Voucher is not transferrable and only one Voucher can be used per transaction. The Voucher is good for parts and service (but not for parts without service), or it can be used towards the purchase or lease of a new or used car.
