Additional wind- and rain-proof insulation
for ventilated façades
The under-rafter insulation, with render (reinforcing compound, reinforcing
fabric, smoothing plaster), is used as additional insulation in areas where
low rafter heights limit insulation thickness between rafters, or where
particularly low U-values are required.
USD-Q11 protect is an under-rafter insulation for plastered surfaces, for effective roof renovation from the inside. USD-Q11 protect may also be used for improving the
thermal protection of walls with ventilated façades.

HDP-Q11 protect – an extremely compression resistant functional board by HOMATHERM®. This wood fibre insulation board is particularly suited for flat roof construction
and floor substructures. With its robust compressive strength and a raw density of 140 kg/m3, it nevertheless offers perfect thermal protection and is easily applied. With
single layer laying, it creates an efficient combination of economy and excellent properties in terms of building physics.
Thanks to its robust compressive strength,
HDP-Q11 protect is particularly well suited for
floor substructures whilst also offering perfect
thermal protection.

THE HIGHLY EFFECTIVE UNDER-SCREED
FOOTFALL SOUND INSULATION BOARD.
Interior insulation of ceiling or floor slab
(upper side), under screed, where acoustic
insulation is required
TS-Q11 protect may also be installed as sound absorbing layer under
flooring.
TS-Q11 protect allows immediate use of ceilings and floors.
TS-Q11 protect has outstanding acoustic transmission reducing properties and may be used for all floor constructions, including wet and dry screeds. Its low dynamic
rigidity under higher service loads and high resistance to compression render the wood fibre insulation board highly resilient, providing very good footfall sound protection.

Plaster base board for composite thermal
insulation systems (e.g. CTIS EnergiePlus
massive) in solid wood and brick
construction
The EnergiePlus massive plaster base board is laid full-surface on solid timber walls and mechanically fastened using clamps or insulating material
screws. The EnergiePlus massive plaster base board is glued full-surface to brickwork and mechanically fastened using insulating material screw plugs.
The entire area may then be rendered (incl. reinforcing fabric) and a finishing plaster applied.
Compressive load resistant and ideal in terms of size and weight, the EnergiePlus massive plaster base board is ideal for composite thermal insulation systems in solid
wood and brick construction. In addition to acoustic insulation, this façade insulation also offers all the options of appealing, contemporary insulation.
