FL50 LED Tower Flood Light √ Tower Illumination √ Flight Corridor √ Identification Sign Illumination FL50 is a flood light special designed for illumination of offshore wind turbine towers. Very low power consumption for same light flux compared to conventional incandescent or halogen lamps. Designed with narrow horizontal light angle and wide vertical light angle. This gives a good illumination of the tower or identification signs, with minimum light seen from the opposite side of the tower. The light source is based on the well known technology from BTI's LA series of sign board lights. Housing is all seawater resistant aluminum and a hood prevents direct radiation of light in other directions than against the tower. For illumination of identification signs painted on the tower one light is sufficient for each sign. For use as flight corridor it is recommended to use three lights for a uniform illumination of the tower over 180 degree.
