BANK RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:
SUMMER ANALYST

that is responsible for the centralized management and governance of Morgan Stanley’s
global securities financing and OTC derivatives activities. Working closely with our Equity,
Fixed Income and Corporate Treasury divisions, BRM helps investors and the Firm finance
and hedge trading activities. BRM’s clients include many of the world’s leading hedge funds,
asset managers, banks and institutional investors. Our trading desks utilize repos and reverse
repos to finance the Firm and clients; lend and borrow securities to help investors execute
their investment strategies; and price and hedge credit risk that arises from OTC Derivative
transactions. BRM’s purview and management strategy has helped position Morgan Stanley as
an industry leader in establishing best-in-class funding and collateral management practices.
