Mr. Roberts participated on the National IEC Safety Committee for eight years, presented six of eight years at the National IEC Convention on subject matter ranging from efficiency and productivity on the job site to fleet safety. He also authored several articles that have appeared in the National IEC Insights magazine as well as spoke across the nation to local IEC chapters on efficiency and productivity. He has been with the CNA for thirty years working in various capacities of risk control within the home office, regional, branch, and service offices. He is an experienced presenter and facilitator of seminar and webinar based education processes. He has presented at the American Society of Safety Engineers Conference, Applied Ergonomic Conference, Fabricators and Manufactures Safety Conference, Independent Electrical Contractors Convention, and Mechanical Contractors of America Conference. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety and Health from West Virginia Institute of Technology. Mr. Roberts is a Certified Safety Professional by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Certified Industrial Ergonomist by the Oxford Research Institute, and Registered Risk Engineer by Underwriters Laboratory. He is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, American Society of Safety Engineers, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He also holds the state boards of insurance Field Safety Representatives designations from Texas and Arkansas.
