Electron Diffraction Methods for
Materials Analysis
This 3-day workshop will introduce you to
different electron diffraction methods for microstructural crystallographic characterization of
materials in scanning and transmission electron
microscopy. The workshop will be composed of
lectures, instrument demonstrations, analysis
labs, and group discussions.

‣ Day 1: Conventional Diffraction Modes in
TEM (SAED, NBD, CBED)
Limited enrollment. Open to students,
researchers and professionals in the field. Basic
knowledge of diffraction and crystallography is
expected.
‣ Day 2: Precession Electron Diffraction and
Crystallography
