A unit member employed less than 75% of a school year, but at least 80 days in that school year shall be eligible for step advancement on February 1, which shall become the anniversary date for future step advancements. An employee who qualifies for column movement and submits proper documentation (official sealed transcripts) by the 15th of the month will receive the salary increase in the current pay period. If proper documentation is received after the 15th of the month, the salary increase will occur in the subsequent pay period. A Notice of Intent to move from one column to another must be noted on the form Intent to Complete Column Move Requirements (Appendix R).
