HRA is just another way of paying for your benefits. BlueLinx sets up your account by putting money aside that you can use to pay for medical and pharmacy expenses that would typically come out of your pocket. What are some of the benefits of having an HRA? – BlueLinx funds the account annually; unused funds roll over year-to-year to help offset future medical costs ($10,500 maximum). – BlueLinx provides 100 percent coverage for in-network preventive care services. – You can use the funds to pay down your deductible. When you go to the doctor, do not pay at time of service. The doctor should file the medical claim directly with UHC. UHC will automatically pay your bill from the funds in your HRA account. If you need to pay at the pharmacy or have a bill, you will have a MasterCard (Health Spending Card) loaded with your HRA funds Your funds are forfeited when you leave or cancel your medical coverage with BlueLinx.
