CINEMA SOUND AT ITS FINEST
The Pulz CSX 10 Cinema Surround Speaker
System is custom designed to reproduce
digital soundtracks faithfully in medium and
large cinemas.
Powered with a 10” coaxial driver of European
origin, the CSX 10 is capable of very high SPL
and dazzlingly uniform dispersion throughout
the auditorium.
This bass reflex design goes all the way down
to about 45Hz has about 124dB of peak
sound level. It does all this at very high
efficiency of 96.7dB sensitivity.
A 1-inch HF compression driver has been
housed in a 10-inch woofer; this imparts a
nice 90˚ wide dispersion in all front directions.
The CSX-10 is one of the best surrounds from
our stable.

CINEMA SOUND AT ITS FINEST
A slim, small, highly effective and efficient
surround loudspeaker is the Pulz CSX 12
described in short.
A 12-inch weather resistant low frequency
driver with a one inch tweeter coaxially
mounted in the centre of the woofer makes a
perfect driver configuration where the woofer
cone acts as a horn loading for the tweeter.
The woofer is large, but has been naturally
curtailed at 60Hz. Controlled dispersion and
low frequency limitation gives the CSX 12 a
unique ability to cater to only a few rows that
the loudspeaker ‘sees’ and then there is
another CSX 12 a few feet away and since
there is no overlap in the dispersion area,
there is no confusion in timing.
CSX 12 is a fantastic solution for cutting edge
theatres that can deliver superb dynamics
and linearity.

CINEMA SOUND AT ITS FINEST
Today's cinema sound reproduction is more
demanding than ever, due to uncompressed
digital soundtracks and emerging new sound
formats with multiple surround channel
options.
conical pattern. Unlike the conventional
systems with vertically or horizontally
displaced drivers, the frequency response of
the Pulz CSX-15 is free of lobes which
preserves the timber of the programme.
The most advanced and sophisticated sound
format like Dolby® Atmos emphasizes the
role of the surrounds to such an extent that
the conventional cinema surrounds fall far
short of the requisite specifications.
Compared to an array of surrounds sharing
the sound tracks individual surrounds are
targeted to create the objects at specific
locations.
The frequency response of the Pulz CSX-15 is
tailored for cinema response with
sophisticated crossover network made of
precision components and air core inductors.
Pulz CSX-15 is custom developed for
surround applications where very high power
and precision are paramount. The system is
powered by a 15" low distortion driver with a
coaxially mounted 1.4" exit compression
driver. This concentric design provide smooth
on and off axis response with a 90 degree
The enclosure is solidly built with 15mm void
free marine ply and finished with black matt
polyurethane paint. A wall mount bracket
allows up to ±45° tilts in 9° increments.
Adequate safety anchor points are included in
the design.
The Pulz CSX-15 with its advanced features
are specially designed and built for today’s
demanding cinemas and sound formats and
sets a new benchmark in surround speaker
design.

The Pulz Sub 118 is a new generation
subwoofer designed to compliment digital
cinema soundtracks. The bass reflex
enclosure is tuned to 25Hz for a deep bass. A
secondary open volume enclosing the 18"
driver gives a raising frequency response,
increasing the impact of the low frequency
effects. This system offers the best balance
between deep and punchy bass.
The 18" driver consisting of a 4" voice coil and
heavy magnetic structure is rated for 1000W
AES power.
The advanced cooling system and design
features minimizes power compression. The
long excursion capability of the driver
prevents damage from fatigue.
The robust enclosure is made of MDF and
coated with polyurethane aberration resistant
paint.
A heavy duty mild steel grill protects the driver
from pests and mechanical damage.
Connectivity is made convenient by 5 way
binding posts.
Pulz Sub 118 is intended for use in premium
cinemas (and post production facilities) where
the ultimate performance is expected.

Pulz has been at the forefront of cinema
sound for almost two decades; we have
gained considerable experience in all aspects
of cinema sound recording and reproduction.
With the advent of digital cinema and 3D,
audiences expect high audio standards.
Meeting this demand is crucial for cinemas to
retain their viewership.
Pulz Isotop Cinema System is designed to
meet these challenges. This technology is
based on the design used in line source array
elements, offering a perfectly well defined
vertically curved wavefront, guided horizontally by a new progressive asymmetrical horn.
The design of the horn is practically exempt
from typical colored horn effect. The result is a
coherent high SPL wavefront with low
distortion and artefacts. This technology is a
radical departure from the conventional
all dimensions in mm
vertically aligned mid high sections of present
day systems.
The Pulz Isotop horns are unique to their
locations. Their design is based on extensive
research into the interiors of typical multiplex
cinemas. The geometry of these horns is
optimized for uniform distribution of sound
from the front to the rear of the auditorium.
This unique design, apart from offering well
balanced uniform sound field throughout the
audience area, also minimizes unwanted
splays into the side walls and ceiling.
Overall the Pulz Isotop Cinema System
embodies many of the recent advancements
in electro acoustical research. The system
interfaces precisely to the typical cinema
auditoriums, delivering outstanding sound
reproduction to every seat in the auditorium.
