Hopland PUD Water System, Hopland, CA
Project manager for general contractor on new water distribution
system for Hopland PUD. Project included approximately 2 miles of
new water distribution lines in Caltrans R/W along Hwys 101 & 175,
installation of mains on two bridge crossings over Russian River
(bridges owned by Caltrans) and two new bolted steel water tanks
plus access roads. Responsible for encroachment permit, traffic plans
and bridge hanger submittals through Caltrans.
Int’l Terminal Expansion / Elevated People Mover, San
Francisco Int’l Airport
Project engineer responsible for on-site daily coordination with field
crews, Airport, PG&E, Caltrans and General Contractor Staff.
Included both day and night crew work and coordination between the
two crews. Project included ductile iron and welded steel pipe water
mains, electrical duct banks and vault installation. Impacts with
Caltrans for hwy 101/380 R/W. Managed shutdown coordination
and noticing with Airport and individual Airline staff representatives.
Provided shoring designs as necessary. Administer company safety
program – drug testing requirements, weekly safety meetings, OSHA
logs, and incident reports.
Eastside Trunk Sewer, Rohnert Park, CA
CM/Inspector on 48” lined RCP sewer installation. Included
bore/micro tunnel under US Hwy 101 .
O’Reilly Facility, Sebastopol, CA
Project manager for site development and utilities for new
commercial office development. Included widening of Hwy 116 and
new signal installation and intersection improvements on Hwy 116.
Coordination with Caltrans for permitting, signal acceptance, lane
routing, and traffic closures.
Ragle Ranch / SE Area Infrastructure Project, Santa Rosa, CA
Project Manager for regional developer responsible for master
planned project consisting of three separate subdivisions (with
phased maps) and extensive off-site infrastructure construction. In
total the on-site development included 433 residential units (mix of
single family detached and townhome units), two apartment sites (3
buildings – 44 units), open space and parks on a total of
approximately 90 acres. Off-site work included construction of a
new 1.5 million gallon reservoir, new high pressure water system
and pump station, approx. ¾ mile of new trunk sewer in existing
streets, and widening, reconstruction and reconfiguration of approx.
1 mile of existing public streets adjacent to Sonoma County
Fairgrounds requiring extensive coordination with Fairground
operations. Early project activities included coordination with
existing land owners and/or tenants to vacate properties, abatement

of lead and asbestos materials in existing structures, and coordination
with local fire and police to utilize existing structures for training
exercises prior to demolition and clearing activities.
West College Maintenance Facility Phase 2 & 3, Santa Rosa, CA.
Construction Manager for multi-faceted project consisting of
demolition of abandoned treatment plant facilities and construction
of new 26,000sf administration building, 10,000sf shops building,
two vehicle maintenance buildings, vehicle wash facility, reclaimed
water pump station, emergency generator replacement, 450 space
parking lot re-construction and all associated site utilities, grading
and paving.
SMART – Sonoma Marin Area Rapid Transit, Marin & Sonoma
Counties, CA
Assist with rail alignment reviews, budget estimating for misc.
structure rehabilitations, and station facilities. Constructability
reviews of Operations & Maintenance Facility preliminary design
alternatives.
Shell Oil Clean Fuels Project, Coke Handling Facility, Martinez,
CA
Project Manager for general engineering contractor responsible for
managing site development and building construction for project in
Shell Oil Refinery. Project included construction of a 2 story office
and shops building, 40,000sf coke handling facility building
foundation, truck loading and wash structures and all associated site
utilities, grading, and paving. Responsibilities included all
subcontracting and coordination of the various building trades
associated with the building, submittal processing, punch list, final
inspection, and acceptance. Also served as company safety
representative coordinating with refinery staff and existing plant
operations.
Shell Oil Clean Fuels Project, Electrical Substation and Process
Equipment Civil Contract, Martinez, CA.
Project Engineer for subcontractor to Bechtel Corp. on a project
involving electrical and process equipment foundations, 150-footdiameter tank foundation, and all associated underground utilities,
process piping (welded steel, fiberglass, ductile) grading, and paving.
Additionally, handled all QA/QC functions and served as company
safety officer.
