External Information Points (EIP) This is the post deployment message and describes the scope which Openreach delivered as part of EMP R2700, delivered on 22 November 2014. As with previous releases, the deployment of any functionality shown below is dependent on successful completion of our testing activities. • NGA • Ethernet • Copper Details of the changes for each product are as follows: NGA Reference ID Products Change description OR- 19737 GEA-FTTC Consumer Switching GEA-FTTC Following this change the new NoT (Notice of Transfer) process for consumer switching will be in place for GEA-FTTC, but not yet activated with no changes 'in live' until the switchover date (targeted 20th June 2015). Key features of this process for GEAFTTC are RID (Retailer ID: currently RIDs are optional for GEAFTTC), minimum 10 working day lead time and use of the “cancel other” functionality on migration orders, and mandatory postcode telephone number/service ID matching for all provide orders (with the exception of Simultaneous Provide). The GEA-FTTC process will be available to test in the CVF (Customer Verification Facility) but will not be switched on in “live” EMP until 20 June 2015 when industry moves to the new process.
