GEA-FTTC
Consumer Switching GEA-FTTC
Following this change the new NoT (Notice of Transfer) process
for consumer switching will be in place for GEA-FTTC, but not yet
activated with no changes 'in live' until the switchover date
(targeted 20th June 2015). Key features of this process for GEAFTTC are RID (Retailer ID: currently RIDs are optional for GEAFTTC), minimum 10 working day lead time and use of the “cancel
other” functionality on migration orders, and mandatory postcode
telephone number/service ID matching for all provide orders
(with the exception of Simultaneous Provide). The GEA-FTTC
process will be available to test in the CVF (Customer Verification
Facility) but will not be switched on in “live” EMP until 20 June
2015 when industry moves to the new process.
