New York SmartCEO Announces the
2014 Executive Management and Voltage Award Winners
More than 400 business executives joined SmartCEO in celebrating 40 Executive Management
Award winners and 30 Voltage Award finalists and eight winners at the 2014 EMVAs
New York, NY (May 1, 2014) — New York SmartCEO is pleased to announce the 2014
Executive Management Award winners and the Voltage award winners. These New York-based
companies were profiled in SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at a combined awards ceremony
at Capitale on April, 30, 2014 that brought together two of SmartCEO’s most popular awards
programs — the Executive Management Awards: Honoring Your Leadership Team Members
and the Voltage Awards: Leaders in Technology — and the celebration of SmartCEO’s
acquisition of New York Enterprise Report.
The event, which recognized a total of 70 executives from the Executive Management Awards
program and the Voltage Awards program, commanded an audience of nearly 400 C-level
executives from the Greater New York business community. And, for the first time, NYER’s
long-standing following joined the SmartCEO community in celebration.

About SmartCEO
SmartCEO’s mission is to educate and inspire the business community through its awardwinning magazine, connections at C-level events and access to valuable online resources.
SmartCEO’s integrated media platforms reach decision makers in the Baltimore, New York,
Philadelphia and Washington, metropolitan areas.
About the Executive Management Awards
The Executive Management Awards honor C-suite executives who have gone above and beyond
to support and lead their organizations. SmartCEO recognizes executives in four categories:
CFO, CIO/CTO, COO and CXO (other C-suite executives) who uphold the highest ethics, lead
collaboratively and creatively, and enhance and support the organization’s mission. An
independent committee of local business leaders reviews the Executive Management Awards
nominations, and winners are chosen based on the quality of the nominations submitted.
Executive Management Award winners are profiled in the March/April issue of SmartCEO
magazine and celebrated at an awards reception in April.
About the Voltage Awards
The Voltage Awards celebrate the ever-increasing role that technology plays in the business
community and the impact the technology sector will have on economic growth. The program
recognizes leading technology innovators and implementers. These are organizations that are
developing new technologies that improve operational efficiencies (technology innovators) and
organizations that are using technology to enhance their competitive advantage (technology
implementers). Each year, an independent committee of local business leaders selects finalists
based on the quality of nominations submitted. The Voltage award finalists are celebrated at an
awards reception in April, where the winners are announced live, and profiled in the May/June
issue of SmartCEO magazine.
