Ingredients:
Indications:
Cow & Gate hydrolysed nutriprem is a
food for special medical purposes, for the
dietary management of preterm and low
birthweight infants who require
hydrolysed protein.
Hydrolysed nutriprem contains hydrolysed
protein which may be helpful for preterm
infants post surgery or who are not
tolerating standard preterm formulas.
Hydrolysed nutriprem preterm formula has
been specially developed and formulated
in line with the latest ESPGHAN 2010
recommendations for infants
weighing 1-1.8kg1.
It contains long chain polyunsaturated
fatty acids (AA & DHA) in amounts
recommended by experts1, nucleotides,
vitamins and minerals to meet the
requirements of growing preterm infants,
which should reduce the need for
additional nutrient supplementation1.
Contra-indications:
Cow & Gate hydrolysed nutriprem should
only be used under the close medical
supervision of a neonatologist or dietitian.
The levels of most vitamins and minerals
in Cow & Gate hydrolysed nutriprem are
higher than in infant milks and additional
