RACE PROGRAMME SUNDAY 29 JUNE 2014 RACE FORMAT There are three classes of racing. Open Competition, Charity Shield & Professional. Each team will race three times in the same heats. Open Competition The slowest of the three times recorded by the Open teams will be ignored and the two remaining times added together. The 16 fastest teams will race in the Open Competition Semi Finals. (This will not include the Professional Teams or the Charity Shield teams). The fastest two teams in each Semi Final will race in the Final. Charity Shield The slowest of the three times recorded by the Charity Shield teams will be ignored and the two remaining times added together. The four fastest teams will race in the Charity Shield Final. Professional The slowest of the three times recorded by the professional teams will be ignored and the two remaining times added together. The four fastest teams will race in the Professional Final.
