Licensing
To begin the licensing process you will first need to obtain a license code either
a) By purchasing the product from our online shop. You can do this by visiting
our web site directly or by clicking the hot-link within the Plug-in itself if your
DAW is online.
Or
b) By making a purchase from an authorised reseller. In this instance you will
either receive the license code at the time of purchase, or directly from the
reseller by email or other agreed process at time of purchase.
Once you have obtained a license code, you may proceed to license the product.

Offline licensing
To license your NUGEN Audio using the offline method, your DAW will need to be
offline. This method is not available if the machine you intend to license to is
online.
1. Open the plug-in interface within your DAW audio host software. The method
for doing this varies from host to host. Refer to your plug-in host user guide for
details on how to do this if necessary.
2. Upon opening the plug-in for the first time each session, you will be prompted
by the following screen.
To license your product online you will need the license code you received directly
after completing your purchase.
If you do not have a license code, click the ‘Buy now’ button to open a browser
window to our shop page so you may make a purchase. Your license code will
automatically be sent via email as soon as the transaction is complete.
Once you have your license code, click the ‘Use license’ button.

3. After clicking the ‘use license’ button you will see the following screen.
If your DAW has an online option, we recommend online licensing as the quickest
and simplest method of licensing your plug-in. If you wish to use the online
method, connect your DAW to the internet and click the ‘Yes’ button.
If you wish to proceed with offline licensing click ‘No’
4. Once you have located your license code click ‘please click here’

5. The licensing program will now identify your plug-in and generate a machine
code for your computer. You will need both for the next step of the process.
As the machine code is rather long, we suggest you click the ‘create text file’
button. This will generate a text file called ‘NA_OfflineLicensingInfo.txt’ on your
desktop. This file contains the Product ID and your machine code and can be
copied to a USB stick or emailed to an online email account so you can retrieve
and use the information in the next step of the offline licensing process.
6. You will now need to visit our offline licensing page on our website .
http://nugenaudio.com/offline.php
You do not need to visit this page using your DAW, any online machine will
allow you to complete the next stage.
On the page above, you will find the offline licensing form, which you will need to
fill in using the information you obtained from step 5 above.

Once you click the ‘submit’ button you will be redirected to a page which will give
you an unlock key. This unlock key will also be sent via email to the address you
registered at the time of purchase.
7. Enter the unlock code you received in step 6 into the plug-in window back on
your DAW. If you wish, you may edit the text file on your desk top generated
in step 5 to contain the license code. You may then use the ‘read from text file’
button to read in the information. This can be useful if your plug-in host is set
by default to refuse text entry.
After entering the unlock code click the ‘Continue button’.
8. Click the ‘continue’ button to close the licensing system and return to the plugin.
