MultiStreamer DIG/IP/1-4ch™ (midi) Summary Features Supports both HD and SD H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoding with "virtual" stream replication Inputs: 1, 2, or 4 SDI or HD-SDI inputs, one GigE IP input Optional two HDMI inputs instead of SDI/HD-SDI inputs Outputs: Multiple simultaneous IP streams through GigE port (RJ45), SDI or HD-SDI video loop through IP output protocols: UDP, RTP, HTTP multicast and unicast transport stream with HTTP Live (HLS), HTTP Smooth, or RTMP (Open Flash) Real time, professional grade, 1 RU, quick starting, standards compliant, embedded Linux® based, remotely manageable, SD or HD (SDI), H.264/AVC Encoder with built-in streaming support for 500+ simultaneous HLS users, relying on a SDI/HD-SDI input card and a "minimal" Linux® kernel (residing in a flash memory device) that is Highly Ruggedized and Task Optimized, coupled to a friendly GUI that can be run from anywhere. The MultiStreamer DIG/IP™ runs on a high performance motherboard with an advanced Intel® Xeon® 4 Core processor. Multiple IP Streams can be produced with most any industry standard "protocols" like UDP or RTP and "Wrappers" such as HLS, RTMP, etc. Audio output is AAC, Ogg Vorbis, MPEG-1 Layer II, optional MP3, and/or optional "SurCode for Dolby Digital" AC-3. We encode the two primary streams to multiple resolutions at .1 to 15 Mbps at most any GOP size, frame rate, refresh rate, or aspect ratio. As mentioned we can simultaneously create high, medium, and low bitrate streams to hand off appropriately scaled streams to your content delivery networks (CDNs) with required authentication, for "One to Many" distribution. Supports stream scheduling and archiving option. Support for segmented streaming: Apple® HTTP Live and Windows® HTTP Smooth. These streams can be played by Apple® and Android devices as well as Silverlight and Flash Clients. Supports logo insertion on outputs Able to upconvert incoming SD streams to HD, and scale down Tested with most CDNs (Verizon®, Akamai®, Octoshape™, Ustream®, etc.) Backhaul/Monitoring for Broadcasters Supports 500+ simultaneous HLS users Supports H.264 High Profile @ Level 4.0 (HP@L4) Military, Corporate Video, Church Services, Special Events Supports 1080i, 1080p, 720p, 480i, 576i, 480p, CIF, QCIF, qHD, H.264up and many others, and custom resolutions Origin Encoder for Grooming Servers Creates simultaneous High, Medium, and Low bitrate streams Audio Input: SDI Embedded, AC3 Embedded, or AES/EBU Audio Output: AAC, Ogg Vorbis, MPEG-1 Layer II, optional MP3, and/or optional "SurCode for Dolby Digital" AC-3 Applications Streaming video to CDNs and web sites like Ustream®, Akamai®, Edgecast®, Octoshape™, etc. Block Diagram Tested to work with Atlas Media Server™, Wowza®, and Adobe® Flash® servers Tested compatible with major brands of IP devices including Amino™, Roku®, Dune HD™, Telergy, Android™, and Apple iPad® and iPhone® Tested compatible with major brands of professional H.264 decoders Remote GUI includes control of scheduling SNMP or REST or SOAP remote management Low power consumption due to Ivy Bridge Intel® CPU Computer Modules, Inc. 11409 West Bernardo Court San Diego, CA 92127 Tel: 858-613-1818 Fax: 858-613-1815 www.dveo.com Application Example Sample of GUIs Network Setup Overview Inexpensive high volume hardware platforms combined with highly enhanced open source Linux® based software offer great value to all willing to embrace the future.
