NOTICE INVITING TENDER-1
Sealed item rate tenders are invited (in two part of Part –A Technical Bid & Part –B Price Bid in triplicate ) for providing Security Service
from bonafide, experienced, reliable, resourceful and reputed ESM Individual proprietorship / ESM Private Limited Company / State Govt.
Owned ESM Corporation sponsored by DGR . The Agency will have to deploy only Ex-Servicemen background , Asst Security Officers ,
Supervisors , Security Guard ( With out Arms) and Security Guard ( With Arms) having experience in Security Field . The total strength of
ESM Security Personnel must possess sound health and physically fit to carry out Security duty in an large Industrial Undertaking . The
Agency must have financially sound and should be able to bear the minimum burden of salary and related statutory deposits of about 100
Security Personnel for at least one month through its own resources with valid DGR sponsorship Certificate from the Competent Authority for
doing such type of jobs / other related licenses ,ESI, EPF ,Service Tax ,Company / Establishment Registration , PSARA Ack / License ,
Income Tax Registration etc as per DGR guide line.
1 NAME OF THE WORK:-For Providing Security Services including Armed Guard escorts and deployment of Security personnel at
designated areas of UCIL Colony , Jadugoda including UCIL Hospital, Slime Dams,
Jadugoda ,Bhatin Mines ,Bhatin Bagjata Mines, Bagjata ,MURP Colony , Mossaboni etc.
2 Estimated value of work
Rs 2,02,49,149 ( for two years)
3 Period of contract
Two years with a provision of extension for a period of one year solely at
the discretion of the Management based on satisfactory performance
4 Earnest Money Deposit
As per DGR Guide line
5 Date of receiving request letter (in duplicate)

If the office of UCIL ,Jaduguda happens to be closed on the last date and time mentioned for any of the above events ,the said events will take
place on the next working day at the same time and venue
Detailed description of work, terms and conditions of the contract shall be available in the tender document which can be had from the office of
General Manager (Personnel) I R’S, Jaduguda Mines on all working days except Saturday and holidays between 9.00 AM to 11.30 AM and
2.30 PM to 4.30 PM after obtaining clearance from the General Manager (Pers) IR’S /Addl Mgr (Security) Jaduguda by giving request letter (
in duplicate) on the letter head of the Tenderer for issue of Tender documents and must be accompanied with duly filled in format for credential
/ information sheet about the Tenderer ( format to be obtained from the office of Addl .Mgr.(Security) . The Security Agency / Proprietor must
bring self attested and stamped true copies of their supporting documents with the request letter. Tenders received without DGR Sponsorship
shall be rejected. Sealed tenders technical Part as well as Price Part will be received at the Office of Gen Mgr.(Pers), IR’S, Jaduguda till the
stipulated date and Technical Part –A will be opened in the same day as per the above schedule by the Chairman and Managing Director or
his representative in presence of tenderers who may like to be present. The price Part of only technically qualified tenderers will be opened on
a later day to be intimated to such Tenderers.
Rate quoted by the Contractor shall be valid till completion of the work . The sales Tax /Service Tax ,if applicable shall be borne by the
Agency/Contractor only. The successful Tenderer / Contractor shall have to comply with provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation and
Abolition) Act, 1970 ,E.P.F & M.P Act 1952 and Rules framed there under and other related Labour Laws including Provisions of Private
Security Agencies (Regulation ) Act, 2005 and Rules as applicable in the concerned State , Minimum Wages to the different categories of
employees must be paid by the Agency as per the Govt’s Notification and DGR Guide line. It is also informed that in case of increase or
decrease of Minimum Wages to different categories of employees and other related statutory components during contract period ,the same
amount will be reimbursed or deducted on actual basis keeping in view of statutory compliance of the Government /DGR guide line.
The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders either in full or part or to split up the work, if necessary, without
assigning any reasons therefore. NIT is also displayed in the websites of the corporation www.ucil.gov.in
