Allegiant Suspends Service - Duluth International Airport

Allegiant Suspends service to Phoenix/Mesa
Duluth, MN, – Allegiant announced yesterday it will be suspending their seasonal service from Duluth
International Airport (DLH) to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Allegiant began service to Phoenix/Mesa
on October 21, 2011. Customers with reservations to this destination will be contacted directly by
Allegiant for a full refund.
"We are disappointed with Allegiant's decision to suspend service form Duluth to Phoenix/Mesa. The
Duluth Airport Authority is committed to insuring our region has competitive air service options that
support business growth and enhance quality of life. We will continue to work with all of our air carrier
partners to look for new opportunities and grow current routes." said Executive Director, Tom Werner.
Allegiant will continue to operate direct service to Las Vegas with 2 flights weekly out of DLH. The Las
Vegas flights currently operate on Fridays and Mondays. Beginning August 14th, those flights will operate
on Thursdays and Sundays.

The new state-of-the-art passenger terminal at the Duluth International Airport opened for business on January 14,
2013. Currently United Airlines offers four daily nonstop flights to Chicago; Delta offers six daily nonstop flights to
Minneapolis/St. Paul and one daily nonstop flight to Detroit; and Allegiant Air offers twice weekly nonstop flights
to Las Vegas and season service to Orlando/Sanford. In 2013 the Duluth International Airport recorded the third
