In close collaboration with our customers, PBF en
ngineers coil solutions for specific high
demanding applications. For transformers, PBF does

the complete design. The engineering and
development process is subsequently translated into specific products, integrating electrical
engineering, electronics and mechanical designs. These designs range from relatively simple to
complex systems, depending on the customer demands and specifications.

PBF is a first tier development and prroduction partner for power supplies, orthocyclic
coils and transformers. With orthocycclic winding the high fill factor (>95%) is key.

PBF has a great variety in coils. Differrent thickness of wire, different angles and other
then usual geometric forms . Diamete

PBF Group B.V. emanated from Philips Electronics through a Management Buy Out in 1999.
In 2011,

Certification
PBF has extensive experience in designing and

Design and Qualification Prrocess
The design and qualification process is guided by a Statement of Work (SOW) where all steps are
documented. The procedure to pass each of the 4 design process steps is comprehensive.

Manufacturing
Netherlands & Romania:
For assembly of products with a higher level of complexity and lower quantities PBF manufactures
in the Netherlands. For series production for the
e European market we have a facility in Romania.
Special coils and transformers are wound using dedicated winding machines. Coils are assembled
into subassemblies. A number of coils are vacuu
um potted in our potting and coating department.
PBF is specialized in orthocyclic, bifilar and otherr more complex coil winding techniques.
China
Our partner in China has a production area off 40.000 sqm, 3.500 employees, more than 150
automatic production lines, with a specialize
ed production engineering team, supply chain
management team and production management team. An impeccable supply chain system and
manufacturing system provide more than 8 million
