Effective Treatment for DVT Prevention
The DVT-2600 Venous Assist System is a specialized Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) system designed to prevent DVT
(Deep Vein Thrombosis) and PE (Pulmonary Embolism) by improving venous blood flow in patients at risk for venous thromboembolism.
The DVT-2600 System consists of a controller, hose sets and cuffs. The DVT-2600 System mechanically inflates cuffs that provide safe and
effective prophylaxis for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). ‘Gradient’ sequential, coincident compression is recognized as superior therapy for
improving blood flow, relieving stasis and enhancing fibrinolysis. Many SCD contracts require “Gradient” sequential compression. The
DVT-2600 Venous Assist System provides ‘gradient’ sequential, coincident compression to each ‘three’ (3) chambered cuff simultaneously
producing twice (2X) the venous volume/velocity.
Home-Use: Surgical patients often remain ‘at-risk’ for DVT following discharge. The DVT-2600 System offers a convenient carrying case and can
accompany patients’ home for continuum of care, improving patient outcomes, reducing liabilities & costs associated with re-admissions…..Saving lives!

Home-Use: Surgical patients often remain at-risk for VTE following discharge. A minimum of seven to ten (7-10) days
prophylaxis is often recommended. Physicians often recommend several weeks for higher risk patients.
DVT prophylaxis should be continued until patient risk for VTE is diminished.
When Extended Use of Prophylaxis is recommended >>> Continuum of Care >>>Hospital to Home!
