The successful launch of the DVS CONGRESS and DVS EXPO 2011 in
Hamburg clearly showed that both events create a successful bridge
between knowledge and the marketplace. For the joining, cutting and
surfacing industries, the DVS CONGRESS and DVS EXPO provide the
ideal opportunity to link the latest knowledge with the presentation
of the newest products and technology.

Virtual Welding Trainer Systems (VWTS) will be set up at DVS EXPO
2015. Under expert supervision, interested visitors will be able to put
their skills to the test using the welding trainers. The welding trainer
systems will give delegates the knowledge to join in at DVS EXPO.

Bildungszentren Rhein-Ruhr and DVS at the same time as and as part
of the DVS CONGRESS.
From 15 to 17 September 2015, the success of this pair of events
will continue at NürnbergMesse. The DVS – German Welding Society,
as the host of the DVS CONGRESS, is staging DVS EXPO 2015 in collaboration with MESSE ESSEN GmbH. We cordially invite you to attend
this extraordinary event as an exhibitor or conference delegate and
continue the success story of DVS EXPO. In 2011, around 6,000 delegates saw for themselves the innovation of the joining, cutting and
surfacing industries, making for a successful launch of this meeting
of knowledge and the marketplace.
For example, the „Research Island“ serves as the dedicated meeting
point for experts, suppliers and interested visitors. Institutes and organisations can introduce themselves here.
NEW VENUE
FROM THE COAST TO FRANCONIA
In the „Adhesive Bonding Technology Theme Park“, the community committee active in this field will show the advances in
innovation that adhesive bonding technology has made possible
for the industry as a high-performance joining technology. In this
promotional area, experts from institutes will inform visitors about
the results of recently completed research projects.
From Hamburg in 2011 to the heart of the Nürnberg metropolitan
area in 2015: the exclusive combination of the DVS CONGRESS and
DVS EXPO will present their exceptional range of knowledge transfer
and corporate presentations at NürnbergMesse. The DVS CONGRESS
can welcome up to 3,300 experts and interested visitors in conference
rooms on three levels of the NCC Ost. Exhibition hall 4A directly next
door provides companies exhibiting at the DVS EXPO with the best
technical facilities, modern design and a bright ambiance infused
with daylight. The logistics infrastructure and the site‘s travel links
are also ideal. Companies can therefore introduce their products and
services to visitors in the best possible way. The close proximity of
NCC Ost to exhibition hall 4A creates an ideal connection between
the diverse topics of the Congress and the accompanying exposition
in terms of both subject and location, because the content covered
in presentations at the various conferences will be physically present
at DVS EXPO in the form of technology, products and services.
Other magnets for visitors: DVS Robot Welding Competition and
Virtual Welding Trainer Systems
Another highlight of the DVS CONGRESS and DVS EXPO 2015 is „Robots in Welding Technology“. The „Robots 2015“ convention will
look at the current cutting edge of technology, quality requirements,
user-related system solutions and more. Evidence of how theoretical
knowledge can be transferred into practice will be offered by the
enthusiastic participants in the first „DVS Robot Welding Competition“. This competition has been launched by DVS with support
from training institute SLV Duisburg. Various famous companies are
providing their robot systems and components for this competition
as well as offering advice to welders.

DVS EXPO forum: a stage for your new ideas
An open forum at the DVS EXPO will offer you as an exhibitor the chance to participate actively in an attractive programme of presentations.

DVS CONGRESS 2015
The DVS organises the DVS CONGRESS every year. However, every
second year the event is presented to members and the specialist
community in a special way: alternately with the world-leading
SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN fair, every second year, the Congress is
held together with the expert knowledge of DVS EXPO and its specialist presentations and discussions.
Recognized experts from the field and dedicated young talents speak
about joining, cutting and coating. The DVS CONGRESS brings together key national and international technical colloquia under one
roof.
