SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief 881 series InFlow Test Tee System shall be used where
necessary for testing DWV systems. Tee fittings shall have Sch. 40 hub
connections and be connected to DWV piping system with solvent weld
joints. Test assembly and seal door plates shall seal by means of an
elastomer gasket. Door plates shall fasten to the test tee with two screws
which thread into brass inserts located on either side of the tee fitting
access hole. System shall comply with ASTM D2665 (PVC) or D2661 (ABS),
ICC, and be IAPMO listed.

INSTALLATION
Install the test fitting between two pieces of pipe. Remove test assembly
from package and install into fitting with gasket side (WET SIDE) up for a
vertical stack test. Tighten two screws evenly with a nut driver to 60 inch
lbs. Lubricate both sides of slide gate and insert (WET SIDE UP) to close off
drain hole in test assembly. Upon completion of test, insert screwdriver into
hole on slide gate. Partially remove slide gate by gently prying to allow the
test to drain down the line. DO NOT remove slide gate entirely until the test
has completely drained. When test has drained completely loosen screws
and remove Test Assembly. Remove the seal door from package and install
on face of fitting (tee). Tighten screws evenly with a nut driver to 60 inch lbs.
Do not overtighten.

InFlow Test Fittings shall only be used in vertical applications. Where InFlow
Test Fitting is concealed in a wall, an access door must be provided for
future service.
