Requesting review/examination copies of textbooks Review/examination copies are print or digital copies of a textbook you are considering. Publishers will ask for the name of the course, anticipated enrollment, semester, office address, and university information. Many require shipment to be to your university address. Desk copies (to keep after adoption of text) are available from some publishers after a submitted textbook adoption. Please check the publisher’s policy if linked, as policies change often. Aspen Publishers Policy: Review copies are available to professors who have not previously received a copy of the book. How to request: Browse Aspen’s site for the book title; on the product page, click Order under Order a Review Copy on the right side of the page. Questions: 800-950-5259 Bloomberg BNA Policy: 60-day examination basis; professors can request any Bloomberg BNA book. Professors may request any Bloomberg BNA book for possible adoption on a 60-day examination basis. A desk copy is provided when you use Bloomberg BNA book as text. For desk copies, follow same procedure, but select desk copy when filling out the request form.
