BlockPhone 58 is an autonomous
portable jammer covering the
frequency bands used by radiocontrolled explosive devices. This
entirely adjustable modular system
allows for a quick and easy use. It
can be installed in a building for
indoor applications or used by units
in motion. Small and lightweight,
it can be carried on a robot to be
placed near the target.
A single device can cover up to 10
bands and jam most worldwide
standards of communication: VHF,
UHF bands, 2G, 3G, 4G cellular bands,
satellite bands and WiFi/Bluetooth.
The jamming density is adapted to
each target to get a homogeneous
protection zone. The signal can
be focused on bands of interest to
concentrate the transmission power
on the targets. Thus, portions of
frequency bands can be used for
other applications.
First responders and EOD teams
have a longer time period in which
to take action in greater safety
as the BP58 minimizes the risk of
detonation of RCIED’s.
Technology
BP58 protects an area by disabling
all kinds of incoming and outgoing
communications in that area. By
sending out a jamming signal on
the dedicated frequency range, the
device inhibits all systems using
wireless technologies (remote
control, cellular phone, walkietalkie...). All attempts to transmit
and exchange information are
immediately blocked. +
