ERC Announces Change In Ownership
Green Bay, WI (October 22, 2014) — Green Bay-based ERC (Employee Resource Center) is
pleased to announce a transfer in ownership. Lee Bouche has stepped down as the
organization’s president and owner, transitioning both to Steven Baue. ERC has locations in
Green Bay (De Pere), Appleton, Wausau, Stevens Point, and Marshfield, WI.
“I have had the pleasure and honor of owning and building ERC for the last 22 years,” said
Bouche. “I’m thrilled to have someone of Steve’s caliber continue our tradition of enriching the
lives of our clients’ employees and maximizing organizational performance.”
Bouche described Baue as the “…perfect match for the values and culture of ERC. It was
important to me to transition ownership to someone who would continue ERC’s commitments to
both its customers and staff. I am especially excited to remain a part of ERC going forward.”
A Wisconsin native, Baue has worked at the Executive level in a variety of businesses, both
international and domestic. His most recent position was Vice President of Human Resources
and Public Affairs at Marinette Marine Corporation / FMG.
Baue says he has always been impressed with ERC’s stellar reputation and is pleased to be
joining such a quality team. “It’s an absolute pleasure,” he said. “I am looking forward to
applying my background in business, specifically Human Resources and organizational
development, while continuing to provide the level of care and expertise ERC is known for.”
Since its founding in 1992, the mission of ERC has been to help clients proactively prevent and
address workplace issues. The range of services offered has proven to be successful in
nurturing an organization’s most valuable asset - a healthy and engaged workforce. This is
accomplished through two divisions of ERC: ERC Assist, which focuses on Employee
Assistance Programs (EAPs), and ERC Achieve, which focuses on leadership/team
development, consulting and building high performance cultures.
As the new president and owner, Baue’s goals include working to enhance the offerings of both
divisions of ERC as well as finding ways to ensure continued ease of access for ERC’s
customers. Bouche will help steer the organization through the transition and then stay on to
focus on the ERC Achieve division.
Baue was born in Superior, Wisconsin, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from
UW-Whitewater, and a Master of Arts in Communication from Marquette University. He serves
on the ADVANCE: Green Bay Area Economic Development Board of Directors, the Bay Area
Workforce Development Board, and the steering committee for the Brown County Heroin
Response Initiative.
