METROSTONE SYSTEM - APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Day 1
Apply Metroresin Primer with a Magritte Primer Roller, (diluted with 400% water)

Metrostone Cem
After 4 hours* proceed with the first coat of Metrostone Cem with a Stainless Steel Pollock Trowel
Day 2

Metrostone Cem
After 12 hours* proceed with the second coat of Metrostone Cem with a Stainless Steel Pollock Trowel, applying
a thin surface coat or the desired effect.
Day 5

Metrostone Matt
After at least 72 hours* apply two coats of Metrostone Matt transparent polyurethane finish with a Magritte
Primer Roller,

Day 1
Apply Metroresin Primer with a Magritte Primer Roller, (diluted with 400% water)

Metrostone Level
After 4 hours* apply one coat of self-levelling concrete primer Metro Level with a Stainless Steel Kandinsky
Trowel and bed in the glassfibre mesh (Tessuto di Vetro or Armatex C1 IVAS) into the wet surface. After remove
any air with a Klee Bubble Breaking Roller.
Day 3

Metrostone Cem
After 48 hours* apply one coat of Metrostone Cem with a Stainless Steel Pollock Trowel.
Day 4

Metrostone Cem
After 24 hours* apply one coat of Metrostone Cem with a Stainless Steel Pollock Trowel, applying a thin surface
coat or the desired effect (see note).
Day 7

Metrostone Matt
After at least 72 hours* apply two coats of Metrostone Matt transparent polyurethane finish with a Magritte
Primer Roller.

*Drying and application times may vary according to environmental working conditions.
N.B. For the need of extra wear resistance and water-resistance, it is possible to substitute the two coats of Metrostone Matt with two coats of Metrofloor Matt/Gloss applied with
a Magritte Primer Roller, 1 week after the application of the second coat of Metrostone Cem.
N.B. For Vintage Decapè effect, create a veined effect using a Woody Pad on the wet surface, then when dry glaze some areas with a Dalì Marine Sponge using Metropolis
decorative paints Hot Metal and Lady Vì.
