HER MESSAGE. Erin is a small business owner
and community leader with a record of service and
getting things done. She’s no career politician. Erin’s
running for Congress because Nevadans need results
from Washington to rebuild our economy, secure
retirements, and make a stronger middle class. As a
mom and community leader, she understands what
families are going through and will focus on solving
problems, not partisan politics.

Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District includes several middle class
communities in the Las Vegas area and goes down to the tip of the
state. President Obama won the 3rd District in both 2008 and 2012. After winning his first election in 2010 by less than 2000 votes,
Republican Congressman Joe Heck received only 50% in his first
re-election. Heck is deeply out of touch with the needs and interests
of the district while Erin’s solution-based approach is exactly what
swing voters in the district respond to.
Why ERIN Wins
THE STRENGTH OF HER CAMPAIGN. Erin has deep
community roots and relationships across Southern
Nevada. She’s been raising money for local non-profit
organizations for 20 years and will put that work
ethic toward raising the resources necessary to get
her message out to voters. She has built a strong
campaign team of seasoned professionals with track
records of success nationally and in Nevada. Erin has
earned an early endorsement from EMILY’s List and
she was added to the DCCC’s Jumpstart program for
standout candidates soon after announcing.

THE DISTRICT AND HECK’S RECORD. The 3rd District
is recognized as a pure swing district in which Democrats have been consistently growing their
registration advantage. Heck’s record is at odds with the values of swing voters in the district. He
twice voted to end Medicare as we know it and called
Social Security a “pyramid scheme” while supporting privatization of the system. Heck voted for the
government shutdown and even voted against the
bipartisan budget deal – all while voting to limit
a woman’s right to choose. This is a middle class
district with a large population of retirees and women
who don’t agree with Heck’s record.
