T
he Altus+ Classic remains the
standard in the industry as one of the
best direct / indirect luminaires for general
commercial lighting applications. The Altus+
Classic offers a shallow design and an extensive
family of T5, T5HO, T8 and twin-tube T5 compact
fluorescent luminaires that are available in center
and dual perforated basket configurations. The
open design features a post painted reflector
that provides 92% reflectance to ensure peak
performance, distributing high quality
direct / indirect light uniformly throughout your
work area. Specially tooled perforated steel,
matched with the newest thin high transmission
inlays, delivers comfortable and efficient lighting.
The Altus+ Classic center model is also available
with a deep prismatic high diffusion lens that
provides a pleasing balance between brightness
of the reflectors and the lens itself. The rigid
construction enhances unit strength and ease
of installation while the architectural low-profile
design projects a clean, modern appearance. The
Altus+ Classic is available with unique features
such as light traps, vented heat removal, and
debris guards. They are manufactured in the USA
and designed for increased sustainability.

Light Trap
The Altus+ Classic Light Trap
prevents light spillover at diffuser
ends. The lens/perforated metal
diffuser pivots on the Light Trap to
swing open for easy re-lamping.
Debris Guard
Optional extruded clear plastic
guards between the lens and
reflector to minimize the infiltration
of debris and insects.
Flow-Thru Air Design
The Altus+ Classic luminaire offers an optional heat transfer
design to improve air circulation through the luminaire and
into the plenum space.
(Only available without Debris Guard).
