Robotic VISION Technologies names Alan Johnson Chief
Operating Officer to add to executive team
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (April 22, 2014)—Robotic VISION Technologies LLC (RVT)
has strengthened its executive team by naming Alan Johnson to the position of Chief Operating
Officer.
Johnson has impressive credentials and has worked in senior management at other firms with
RVT founder and Chief Executive Officer Rick Weidinger.

has a history of delivering customers leading-edge technology and superior customer
satisfaction. We worked together in building the success stories at MFS Communications and

Johnson has been Regional Director for MFS Communications, where he managed fiber optic
network expansion and integration, US West Communications Vice President and General
Manager responsible for serving more than 385,000 customers and leading 2,500 employees and
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Pontio Communications, where he led sales, network
development and operations and transformed a start-up into the largest competitive local
exchange in Texas. Each company was acquired and produced significant value for shareowners
and employees. Upon the sale of Pontio, Johnson has pursued private investments, real estate
development and owning auto dealerships to fuel his enthusiasm for automobiles.
