Extended Day Care
1. When will I receive my first bill?
Fees are calculated after the first month of care has happened. Your first invoice will be sent
around the 20th day of the next month. For example, you will receive an invoice on October
20th for the care that you received for the month of September.
2. When do I have to pay my bill?
Your bill is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice.
3. Why does my bill come from the Region of Waterloo when my before/after care is with
the school board?
Through a contractual arrangement, the Region of Waterloo is looking after the billing on
behalf of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB).
4. How can I pay my bill?
Your bill can be paid through a variety of payment options:
 Cash and Debit at Finance, 150 Frederick St., Kitchener
 On-line Banking – on your banking website, add payee “Waterloo Region Finance
Invoice.” Your customer ID, found on your invoice is entered as your account ID.
 Automatic withdrawals from your Credit Card. Contact the AR Clerk ELP at the
Region of Waterloo 519-575-4490, option 2, to obtain a form. Once the form has
been completed, signed and returned to the Region of Waterloo, your invoice
amount will be debited from your credit card each month.
5. Can I pay my bill in advance of receiving my invoice?
You can make payments before you receive your invoice. To do this, you will need to
contact the AR Clerk ELP at the Region of Waterloo 519-575-4490, option 2, to get your
Client ID #. Once you have that, you can arrange to pay:



In person at 150 Frederick St., Kitchener, 4th Floor;
By pre-authorized credit card withdrawals – request a form from the AR Clerk ELP at
the above number
On-line banking: go to your online banking website; add “Payee” and this will be
Waterloo Region Finance Inv. Client ID # is entered as the account #.
6. I don’t think my bill is correct. Who should I contact?
Questions regarding the scheduled days on the invoice should be directed to Waterloo
Region District School Board “Before and After School Program” at 519-570-0003 x4704 or
