These Salient Technical Features are mentioned only to facilitate prospective bidders to prime-facie facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the Scope of Work and Technical Features / Specification of Works covered cove in the Bidding Documents. Detailed provisions in regard of Scope of Work and Technical Features / Specification of Works, contained in the bidding document shall be final and binding. Introduction Durgapur Captive Power Plant – –II (CPP-II) under NTPC-SAIL IL Power Company Private Limited have Two (2) Nos 60 MW Capacity Power Generating Units installed by Poland Company C were commissioned in 1987& 1988.. These Steam Generators are provided with ELWO, Poland, Electrostatic Precipitators. Location and Approach Project Location Nearest Railway Station Distance of project location fromthe Railway station Distance of Kolkata Airport from the theProject Site Distance from Nearest HighwayNH ighwayNH-2 (GT Road) Point to the site West Bengal Durgapur 8 KM 190 KM (Approx) 5 KM Brief Scope of Work (a) Modification of existing ESP to achieve the targeted emission level 50 Mg/Nm3 from the present operating emission level to meet pollution control norms through retrofitting / renovation with additional collection area area: (Option - I) Renovate enovate the existing ESP to enhance the collecting area through redesign / rere engineering work like increasing its height, increasing the collecting electrode spacing, spacing adding additional field in series seriesin the available space and /or Install new additional ESP similar to the renovated ESP in parallel in the free space available to achieve the targeted emission level. OR (Option - II) Renovate enovate the existing ESP to enhance the collecting area through redesign / re-engineering work like increasing creasing its height, increasing the collecting electrode spacing, spacing adding additional field in series in the available space and converting last one / two fix field of existing ESP to MEEP field and/or Install new additional ESP SP similar to the renovated ESP in parallel to it in the free space available consisting of fix field and MEEP field in the available space to achieve the targeted emission level. (b) All Civil works including foundation for new fields of existing ESP & new parallel ESP, Construction of new w ESP Control room (common for two units). (c) Wet Ash handling system for additional field of modified ESP & new ESP. (04) nos. 6.6kV/415V Transformers, associated power, control & instrumentation cables, switch gear and protection. (e) Supply of item/component as required required. (f) Replacement of internals of existing ESP and E&C of modified ESP and new ESP. (g) CFD modeling of New as well as modified ESP ESP. (h) Supply of Mandatory spares as detailed iin technical specification. (i) Services like dismantling / repair / overhaul/retrofitting of various other components / systems / sub-systems systems as may be required, to ensure sustained, safe commercial operation, and to meet stipulated design / guarantee requirem requirements ents and to meet the overall objectives of retrofitting of ESP.
